Job Description:

The position involves participation in the development of ANSYS CFD-Post product, the advanced post-processing tool for CFD results. Responsibilities include:

Design, development, optimization and maintenance of features in the product, according to project requirements and quality standards

Active participation in design brainstorm sessions and team meetings

Working closely with various in-house solver codes to ensure that post-processing requirements of those products are met

Developing and maintaining of a high level of technical excellence in the area of post-processing and scientific visualization through evaluation of current literature, participation in technical conferences, publications and interaction with colleagues in the field.

Providing high-level support to the product support and development staffs

Desired Profile:

The ideal candidate should have

Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, chemical, mechanical or aerospace engineering

1-5 years experience in software development in reputed companies

Excellent ability and aptitude in programming with good exposure in object-oriented programming

In-depth knowledge in C or C++ or C#

Very good oral and written communication skills

Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

Familiarity with scientific simulation and visualization

Experience in Graphical User Interface (GUI) design/development

Freshers from IITs with good academic record are welcome.
